Document Delivery Request

Library Services Document Delivery Request Form. -- Please Note the Following:

  1. Document Delivery is requested for articles or book chapters "not" available in our collection or online for free.
  2. The request must be associated with a legitimate purpose (e.g., assignment, major project or thesis work, etc.).
  3. Requests are managed in the order requested, but you can indicate the deadline by which you'll require the resource.
  4. Due to copyright restrictions, you are not permitted to share your requested document with others.
  5. Due to copyright restrictions, the library cannot provide you with more than 10% of a book's overall content.
  6. The Library cannot guarantee that we can obtain the requested resource as some requests are not available in our network of contributing libraries.

Interlibrary Loan

Public Libraries and Interlibrary Loan

Library Services can provide you with specific journal articles and small selections of books, such as single chapter.  However, what if you want to read an entire book? In this case, you need to connect with your local public library. Most public libraries have the ability to find books through their Interlibrary Loan systems. This includes academic books. If you want to read an entire book that YU does not have in the library collection, go to your local public library and make an interlibrary loan request.
