Theses Canada Submission Instructions

This Learning Pathway provides instructions for YU graduate students (having successfully completed and defended their thesis) on how to submit their thesis to Theses Canada for public access.   

This Learning Pathway includes the following steps:

  • Removing any private or restricted information from your thesis.
  • Carefully reading the Theses Canada site "Information for Students"
  • Carefully reading and signing the Theses Canada Licensing Agreement form
  • Completing the YU Submissions Details Form
  • Sending a copy of your thesis (PDF), the signed Theses Canada form, and the signed YU Submissions form to your program designate.

Once you complete the process, Library Services will contact you when your thesis is accessible online at the Thesis Canada site. Note, you have the right at any time to withdraw or amend your thesis (instructions located in the FAQ).
