- Step 1: Identify resources available to you at Yorkville University, previously attended Universities, and at your local public library.
- Step 2: Conduct sample searches by learning about our databases, saving your searches in Excel, and doing comprehensive searches in WorldCat.org
- Step 3: Organize your results with free Bibliographic software, Zotero.
- Step 4: Consult with our Information Literacy Librarian to help you with developing a search strategy. Connect to our Resource Management Librarian concerning resources you need for your work but are not available at our university library.
- Step 5: When you find the perfect article on your topic, use Google Scholar's "Cited by..." feature AND EBSCO's "Find Similar Results" button to retrieve similar results.
- Step 6: You can improve your writing by submitting your work to Studiosity's Free tutorial service, reading our own library books on doing a literature review, and watching our 5 PART Library series on doing a Literature Review.
